Third Annual Double Good Days Will Deliver More Fun for Kids with Special Needs

Tim Heitman, Founder & CEO of Double Good, and his wife, Natalie, founded the Double Good Kids Foundation, which hosts Double Good Days with the generous support of the Double Good community. The Foundation aims to bring joy to children with unique challenges through fun, inclusive experiences.

The third annual Double Good Days returns to Kohl Children’s Museum in Glenview, IL, on June 8, 2025. The free event offers a range of interactive experiences that engage gross and fine motor skills.

The inclusive, all-abilities experiences span science, art, music, sports, theatre and more.

This year’s Double Good Days features two new partners: the Special Gifts Theatre and Special Olympics Illinois.

Families can reserve their spots at the June 8 event when registration opens in early May. We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of new and returning families to this year’s Double Good Days.

Being part of Double Good Days is truly magical,” says Double Good Event Coordinator Alexa Durkin, who will be joined at the event by many fellow employees from the online fundraising company. “It’s such an emotional experience to see the joy these kids feel when they get to participate in fun designed just for them.
